We occasionally have visitors into school to visit staff or provide workshops, assemblies etc to the children.
Visitors are accompanied by a member of staff and not left alone with children. All visitors are to be given a copy of the Safeguarding Leaflet on arrival (a copy is also available via the PDF below).
At South Farnborough Juniors, we welcome and encourage parents and carers to come into school and work with the children or support the staff.
Volunteers can help the school in many ways, for example, helping with the school library, assisting/running after-school clubs, maintaining the school grounds/allotment or reading with children.
The school is committed to the safeguarding of pupils. All regular volunteers are required to have a DBS check undertaken by the school.
