Parent Information Evening

We would like to remind you that we will be holding our New Parents Information Evening on Tuesday 23rd June at 6:00pm. This evening is for parents and carers only; we kindly request that children are left at home.

Please arrive via the main front gate and proceed to the hall via reception. On arrival, you will be issued with a letter stating which class your child has been allocated. You will then proceed to their new classroom to meet their teacher and watch a short presentation.

Following the presentation, you are invited back to the hall where our catering company, Chartwells, will have some sample school meals for you to try. Their team will also be on hand to answer any questions regarding medical dietary requirements.

There will also be an opportunity to purchase second-hand uniform. If you would like to pre-order any items, you can do so via the Arbor School Shop, and your order will be ready for collection on the night.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, your child's class letter and a copy of the presentation will be sent via email the following day.

Transition Visit - 2nd July

Our new year 3 children will be spending the day with us on Thursday 2nd July as part of their transition. The day will be an opportunity to meet their new teacher and classmates and familiarise themselves with the school. 

Please bring them to the hall for a 9:30am start and collect at 2:30pm The side gate to King George V Park will be open in addition to the main front gate, at both times.

They will need to wear their infant school uniform and trainers as they will be taking part in activities during the afternoon. They will also need to bring in a packed lunch, a mid-morning snack and a named water bottle that they can refill throughout the day. No sweets, fizzy drinks or nuts/nut products please.

The weather is forecast to be warm so please ensure that they have applied sunscreen and wear a sun hat.

First Day in September

School will start on Wednesday 2nd September for all children (Tuesday 1st September is an INSET day).
Year 3 children only will start at 9:15am and finish at the normal time of 3:25pm. Further details regarding drop-off and pick-up routines will be sent to you later this term.

From Thursday 3rd September, Year 3 children may arrive anytime between 8:30am (when the gates open) and 8:50am (when the gates close).
