REMINDER - Summer Fair Raffle We have some fantastic prizes available for our Summer Fair Raffle. The star prize is a Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle! Tickets are £2 each and available to purchase online at raffall.com/sfjs. The raffle will close just after the Summer Fair on 26th June with winners published on the SFJS Raffall page.
The children will need to come to school in their PE kit and trainers. They will be walked in classes from South Farnborough to the sports ground and will be seated under gazebos on arrival and during the events. At the end of the races, they will be walked back to school in their classes in time for lunch and the afternoon lessons.
There will be no vehicular access or parking spaces available at the sports ground. Please be mindful when parking to not block driveways/entrances to local residents and businesses. We recommend that if spectators need to drive, that they park in Queen’s Road or King George V car parks and walk to the track. Picnic chairs or blankets would be useful as we are unable to offer any seating for spectators.
In the event of rain, a decision will be made on the morning of the 9th July, whether or not the races event can go ahead. If this is the case we will notify you before 9:00am.
As the children will be very active on both these days, they will need to have a named water bottle and wear a sunhat. Please ensure they have applied sunscreen before school and have some to re-apply if necessary.

Children will need to come to school in their PE kit on their designated PE days as stated below.
They will stay in their PE Kit all day.

The Explorer by Katherine Rundell From his seat in the tiny aeroplane, Fred watches as the mysteries of the Amazon jungle pass by below him. He has always dreamed of becoming an explorer, of making history and of reading his name amongst the lists of great discoveries. If only he could land and look about him. |
