Weekly Email Summary

A summary of the information sent to all year groups on 22nd May 2026

Messages this week

  • Year 5 Classes in September (current Year 4) - As we approach the second half of the summer term, I know many of you are beginning to look ahead to September and are wondering about class organisation for the next school year.

We do often look at mixing our pupil cohorts during their time with us. The primary goal of this practice has always been to create fresh opportunities for social growth, blend learning dynamics, and ensure balanced classes.

However, after a great deal of careful consideration, observation, and discussion among the teaching staff, we have decided not to mix the three year 4 classes for this coming September. Our priority is always to do what is best for the children, and we truly believe that keeping these class communities intact is the right choice for the upcoming year.

Your child’s current class will transition into Year 5 exactly as they are. Over the coming weeks, we will be finalising details regarding transition days and teacher allocations, and we will share that information with you as soon as it is confirmed.

  • 4X Class Assembly - 4X will be performing their class assembly on Tuesday 9th June in the school hall from 9:20am. Parents and Carers are welcome to attend.
