SFJSPTA is a group of parents made up of an elected committee and willing volunteers. Our aim is to raise as much money as we can via various events such as fairs and disco's held throughout the year to benefit the school and the children that attend.
We also contribute annually around £3500 towards coaches, meaning every child will benefit from one trip a year where the cost of transport is covered fully by the PTA. In the past, we have also contributed towards other items such as an interactive whiteboard for the school hall, interactive whiteboards for classrooms, huff and puff play equipment, a donation to the gardening club, science week presentations to name a few.
We meet up several times a year to discuss forthcoming events and money raising ideas as well as to discuss what to spend the funds raised on. ALL parents are welcome to attend any of our meetings and get involved but we also understand not everyone can make an evening meeting so will endeavor to keep you informed of how we are doing via the school website. We are always in need of helpers for our events and appreciate any assistance you may be able to provide no matter how big or small for example a shift at a disco, setting up for a fair, manning a stall, Christmas present wrapping and much more. We hope the children (and parents) enjoy the events scheduled for this year and raise as much money as we can.
