Arrangements for Coming in to School

For the first two days for Year 3 children - The new Year 3 children will need to be brought to the lower school playground at 9.30 am. This is to the left of the school building behind our staff carpark. Please enter the school site through the front gate. The four Year 3 teachers will be on the playground to welcome the children. We will be operating a drop off system so that we can keep adults moving to maintain social distancing. Once you have dropped off your child, please follow the staff directions to leave through the pathway up The Grove. The children will be taken straight in to their classrooms once they have been dropped off. Please do not linger on the playground, rest assured your child will be well cared for. The success of this system depends upon parents arriving and leaving promptly. At the end of the day we are asking our new Year 3 parents to come through the front gate again and pick up their child at 3.10 pm, again from the lower school playground following the one-way system out through the Grove.

For the year 3 children from Monday 7th September - If you are able to leave your child at any gate, please drop off between 8.30 and 8.55am. If you wish to accompany your child (for the first half term allowing them to settle in) – onto the lower school playground – then you will need to arrive through the main front gate between 9 and 9.10am. Parents will then be able to follow the one-way system from the week before, exiting via The Grove. Pick-up – Parents/Carers will need to pick up at 3.10pm from the Lower school playground, again coming onto the school site through the front gate and following the same one-way system as used in the morning, exiting through The Grove. All year 3 children need to be collected by an adult. Please note that the children can only have 1 adult with them to minimise contact and any infants will need to stay with the adults at all times.
