Hello Parents/ Carers,
We have just watched Boris make his announcement! We now have no choice but to switch to remote learning.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 5th January, we are able to take critical worker's children and vulnerable children. For those parents who have already returned the critical worker place request form by 8.30pm this evening, you will have received an email confirming if you have a place. If you do not receive a confirmation email this evening, please do not send your child into school.
If you haven't returned the critical worker place request form yet but intend to do so, please still do it and send it in before the noon tomorrow deadline and we will look to get your child in on Wednesday if possible.
All children in Middle School are able to come in should they wish to do so. Please contact transport directly to organise and let Mrs Hudson in Middle School know, if you do not wish to have a place.
All teachers and Teaching assistants, office staff etc will be in school each day. For all children, we are able to start remote learning from tomorrow. This will not be 'live' tomorrow, but will be from Wednesday. For tomorrow, the teachers will put some work on Google classrooms.
It is a great shame the Government were so insistent we were to open today only to change their minds this evening. As I have said before, we will continue to do everything we can to keep the morale high for our school children and community.
Best wishes and keep safe. No doubt I will be writing to you again soon.
